Out of the Box Theatre Company

Out of the Box Theatre Company is committed to providing high quality, innovative musical productions that challenge audience members to think "outside of the box" while showcasing extraordinary local artistic and musical talents. While the theatre arts community in Santa Barbara is impressive for its size, musical theatre has long since been limited to youth companies and the year-round national touring groups. We are dedicated to bringing professional grassroots theatre back to Santa Barbara through our use of local actors, musicians, directors, designers and artists.

Out of the Box Theatre Company will be producing two shows this year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring, and will be printing over 1000 playbills per production, which will then be distributed to audience members. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase your business while also supporting another small independent business. Advertisement space is available in a wide variety of sizes. There are plenty of ways to help out, and some won't cost you a cent! We are always looking for volunteers to help out with fundraising, technical work, promotion, and more! Do you have a truck you'd like to let us borrow? Were you blessed with super strength and a knack for fitting large set pieces through small doors? Do you know how to wield a paintbrush? Lend us your skills in exchange for good karma and cupcakes!
